NCT Alliance Marks Major NSIP Milestone with Phase 1 Vacant Possession Handover and KM2 Launch

Advances Selangor’s Vision as a Dynamic, Future-Ready Industrial Hub

SELANGOR, 8 SEPTEMBER 2026 – NCT Alliance Berhad (NCT Alliance) marked several key milestones in the development of NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) at the NSIP Milestone Event today, bringing together a series of significant developments that reflect the park’s continued progress. These included the handover of vacant possession for Phase 1, the launch of its next phase of development, key strategic collaborations and infrastructure milestones, further reinforcing NSIP’s growing role in supporting Selangor’s industrial growth.

The event was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari, Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor. Also present at the ceremony YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade and Mobility; Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy, Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director of NCT Alliance Berhad; and Dato’ Yap Fook Choy, Executive Director of NCT Alliance Berhad.

The milestone event commenced with a flag-raising ceremony at the newly completed Dataran NCT. Inspired by the spirit of Dataran Merdeka, the landmark symbolises national pride and progress, reflecting NSIP’s Malaysian roots as it grows into a globally competitive industrial development. Against the backdrop of the Jalur Gemilang, YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin also signed a commemorative plaque at Dataran NCT, officially marking the completion of the landmark and the beginning of the day’s milestone celebrations. NCT is also the recipient of Asia Record for the title Asia’s First Managed Industry 4.0 (IR4.0) Smart Industrial Park

The ceremony continued with the commencement of vacant possession (VP) handovers to lot owners in the completed Phase 1 of NSIP, making it the first development under Selangor’s Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS) to reach this milestone. NCT Alliance also officially launched KM2 in Phase 2, representing the next stage of NSIP’s development and continued expansion.

YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari, Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor, said, “Having witnessed the journey of NCT Smart Industrial Park from its early stages, it is encouraging to see the development reach this important milestone. The commencement of vacant possession for Phase 1 reflects the progress that has been made in bringing the vision for NSIP to life, while demonstrating the value of close collaboration between the private sector, the State Government and relevant agencies.”

He added, “NSIP has an important role within IDRISS and in Selangor’s continued industrial growth. As the development progresses, we look forward to seeing it attract more high-value investments and create quality employment opportunities that will contribute to the state’s long-term economic growth.”

Phase 1 of NSIP comprises 280 solar-equipped industrial units and has achieved a take-up rate of close to 90%, reflecting strong market demand for strategically located, future-ready industrial developments.

Following the groundbreaking of Phase 2 last year, NCT Alliance is expanding the park with larger manufacturing and industrial spaces to cater to a wider range of business requirements. These include detached, semi-detached, cluster and terrace factories, as well as industrial land parcels. Equipped with enhanced smart infrastructure, KM2 comprises 241 units.

Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy, Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director of NCT Alliance Berhad, said, “Today represents an important moment in NSIP’s journey. From raising the Jalur Gemilang at Dataran NCT to handing over the first completed units to our purchasers and launching the next phase of the development, each milestone reflects the progress we have made towards building an industrial park that is proudly Malaysian and globally competitive.”

“Demand for industrial and logistics infrastructure in Malaysia continues to rise, with Selangor being of particular interest due to its strategic location and advantageous state-backed incentives. With Phase 1’s VP handover and the launch of KM2, NSIP continues its steady progress as a world-class development that prioritises efficiency, green energy and smart infrastructure to cultivate a cohesive and scalable industrial environment. We expect Phase 2 to generate greater spillover benefits across Selangor, supporting job creation during construction and skilled employment opportunities once completed.”

The award-winning NSIP spans approximately 910 acres of prime land and has a total gross development value of RM10.2 billion. As the maiden development under the IDRISS master plan, NSIP remains a key contributor to Selangor’s development of South Selangor as a strategic industrial corridor for high-impact investment and is well-positioned to accelerate socioeconomic and industrial growth across the region.

The milestone event also underscored the partnerships and infrastructure required to support NSIP’s transition into an operational industrial ecosystem.

Reinforcing NSIP’s position as an advanced industrial hub, NCT Alliance exchanged Memorandum of Collaboration (MoCs) with SIRIM Berhad and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). Through these collaborations, businesses at NSIP will gain greater access to certification services and support for the adoption of digital solutions, helping to enhance productivity and facilitate smoother day-to-day operations.

Another key milestone was the official handover associated with Jalan Langat Lestari. Completed ahead of schedule by NCT Building & Civil Engineering Sdn Bhd, the infrastructure project strengthens connectivity to the surrounding area and supports NSIP’s readiness for commercial operations. The handover involving NCT Building & Civil Engineering Sdn Bhd, Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Selangor and Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negeri (UPEN) also reflected the close collaboration between the private sector and government agencies in delivering the supporting infrastructure required for the region’s continued development.

NCT Alliance also officially received the Master Services Agreement for Managed Industrial Park (MIP) from Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat (MPKL), formalising NSIP’s implementation of the MIP model. Under the MIP model, NSIP brings together centralised park management, security and digital services to support a more efficient operating environment for businesses. This includes the NCT G App, a dedicated digital platform connecting tenants with park management for faster communication and more effective security coordination.

NSIP’s future-ready industrial ecosystem is further equipped with a Smart Command Centre, intelligent building management systems and integrated digital solutions, supported by 5G connectivity for fast and reliable network access. The park also houses an AI-managed Centralised Labour Quarter (CLQ), offering quality accommodation for workers.

As Malaysia’s largest GreenRE-certified ESG managed industrial park, NSIP’s master plan incorporates solar power generation, rainwater harvesting systems, EV charging facilities and a 100-year flood mitigation plan, aimed at reducing environmental impact while supporting greater operational efficiency. These initiatives complement NCT Alliance’s broader sustainability ambitions and are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), reinforcing the Group’s commitment to building a more sustainable and future-ready industrial ecosystem.

With these milestones in place, NCT Alliance will continue to advance the development of NSIP as a modern, future-ready industrial park, strengthening its position as a destination for high-value investment while supporting Selangor’s long-term industrial and economic growth.
